Current Entry Requirements for Spain

If you travel to Spain by air, regardless of the country of origin of the trip (including Spaniards returning home), it is recommended by Bliss Cruise to take all of the following steps listed below to receive your EU Digital equivalent vaccination QR code (if you do not already have a EU Digital COVID Certificate), and have all of the required documents necessary for travel. As everyone will be fully vaccinated, and/or boosted, there are currently no COVID testing requirements for us to enter Spain.

• Please do not forget to carry your original passport from your country of origin. Photocopies are not accepted for travel. However, you should keep a digital copy or photocopy of your passport in case it's misplaced during your trip.
  
  
• Within 72 hours and up to the time prior to your departure, you will need to apply for an EU Digital COVID Certificate or equivalent. This can be done through the https://www.spth.gob.es/ website or the Spain Travel Health app for Android devices or iOS (iPhones).
  
  
• The EU Digital COVID Certificate (formerly called Digital Green Certificate) will facilitate safe, free movement during the COVID-19 pandemic within the EU. It serves as proof that a person was vaccinated against COVID-19, received a negative test result, or recovered from COVID-19.
  
  
• Vaccination Certificate: it has to be a complete course of a vaccine authorized by the EMA/WHO, and is valid starting 14 days after the last dose. Effective March 1, 2022, a booster shot will also be required for this sailing.
  
  
• Once completed, you will obtain a QR code that will have to be presented at both the time of boarding and upon arrival in Spain.
       • Upon your arrival at the airport, you will have to follow indications for the Orange Way.
  
  
• If you do not take all of these steps and have an EU Digital COVID Certificate or equivalent, you must complete a health control form before your departure. You can do it through the https://www.spth.gob.es/ website or the Spain Travel Health app for Android devices or iOS.
       • Upon your arrival at the airport, you will have to follow indications for the Blue Way.
  
  

Getting on the Ship

For this European sailing, ship officials will not permit you to board unless you are fully vaccinated and have received a booster shot. Guests sailing on our charter will no longer be required to undergo a COVID-19 Antigen test while checking in at the terminal; however, to strive for a COVID-19 free environment, guests will be required to provide a negative COVID-19 test upon embarkation.

The COVID-19 test can either be:

• PCR: Test date no older than 72 hours prior to embarkation; or
• Antigen: Test date must be within one day of embarkation

Antigen COVID-19 testing is available for $59.00 USD in the terminal or on the boarding deck. Boarding will be denied to those guests who cannot provide a negative COVID-19 test.

Covid-19 Rapid Antigen and PCR tests are also available on the ship to international guests who have immediate flights back home. These tests are at your expense; they will cost $59.00 USD for an Antigen test and $85.00 USD for a PCR test.

Current Mask Policy

For sailings starting on or after May 1, 2022, masks are recommended but not required while indoors. Masks may be required in ports of call depending on local government mandates. We will keep you informed during the voyage when masking is optional, and when masking is required.

Cancellation Policy/Fees

• Up to June 1, 2020: $125.00 pp ($250.00 pp for Suites)
• Up to March 1, 2021: $350.00 pp ($750.00 pp for Suites)
• Up to July 1, 2021: $750.00 pp ($1,250.00 pp for Suites)
• Up to October 1, 2021: $1,250.00 pp ($1,750.00 pp for Suites)
• After October 1, 2021: NO REFUND

Additional Fees

Additional fees are required for every person. The fees will reflect port charges, government taxes, doc fees, gratuities and security fees. These will be as follows:

• $425.00 per person for all Staterooms
• $525.00 per person for all Suites

Additional Persons

Additional persons in a cabin will not be allowed for this charter.

Single Policies

Any person showing up at the port without their partner, shall not be admitted onto the ship and shall not be entitled to any sort of refund.

Booking Details

• The cabin cost includes all meals in the main dining room, cafe and buffet, plus the Premium Beverage Package.
• Specialty restaurants and excursions are not included.

Special Offers

Any cabin purchased from Bliss Cruise, or one of its Travel Affiliates, is for the cabin ONLY. Any special pricing, promotions, offers or discounts of any type offered by the cruise line for one of their regular scheduled voyages are not part of the Bliss Cruise program and will not be honored. In addition, some cabins may have limited amenities during a Bliss Cruise charter.

What Not to Pack

For the safety of our guests and crew, there are certain items that are not allowed on board. If these are found, they will be confiscated. Alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs, flammable liquids, explosives, and dangerous chemicals will not be returned. Prohibited items are at the discretion of the Chief Security Officer and the Staff Captain and include, but are not limited to:

• Illegal drugs and substances
• Candles, incense, coffee makers, clothes irons, travel steamers and hot plates (Items that generate heat or produce an open flame. This includes heating pads, clothing irons, hotplates, candles, incense and any other item that may create a fire hazard. NOTE: The only exception to this policy are curling irons and hair straighteners. Matches and normal lighters are allowed onboard. However "torch lighters" and novelty lighters that look like guns are not allowed onboard. Torch lighters emit a powerful concentrated flame, and are therefore prohibited.)
• Electrical extension cords
• Firearms and ammunition, including realistic replicas
• Sharp objects, including knives and scissors*
• Self-defense, including handcuffs, pepper spray, and night sticks
• Alcoholic beverages** (Note: Alcoholic beverages that are purchased in ports-of-call or from shops onboard will be stored by the ship and delivered to you on the last day of the sailing.)

* Personal grooming items such as safety razors are allowed. Scissors with blades less than four inches are allowed.

Itinerary

8 Days and 7 Nights

We are thrilled to deliver a destination-immersive experience for guests that love to travel and explore the world. Bliss Cruise is set to provide our special touch on this experience with an 8 day/7 night Spain intensive voyage that departs from Barcelona and highlights a stop in Casablanca, Morocco. The ship sails from Barcelona at 6:00 pm but it is strongly recommended that you arrive at least one day before the cruise so you do not miss the ship due to flight delays. The cruise will return to Barcelona and debarkation will begin at approximately 8:00 am. You should not book your return flight prior to 1:00 pm.

Barcelona, Spain

Barcelona is a cosmopolitan masterpiece. With a history rich in art and architecture, medieval, Gothic, and modern influences can be seen all over the city. You can marvel at Gaudi's Sagrada Familia or stroll up the shady, tree-lined Las Ramblas boulevard and discover some of the city's best shopping and bustling cafes.

 

Malaga, Spain

Málaga is like a beautiful work of art. And it’s no wonder considering, considering it was the birthplace of Picasso. You’ll find a museum commemorating his birth here, which is a must-visit destination for art fans. Elsewhere, be sure to spend some time in the city’s Alcazaba, a 11th-century citadel that is home to three palaces, beautiful gardens, and opulent fountains.

 

Cadiz, Spain

In Cadiz, cobblestone streets lead into café-filled squares, where you can sip while appreciating the Moorish architecture. Or visit Seville, where the locals are devoted to bullfighting, flamenco, and fiesta. The city also has a rich history evident in its old quarters and landmarks – an immense lavishly ornamented cathedral, and the Alcazar palace, exquisitely decorated in Moorish style.

 

Casablanca, Morocco

Casablanca is a port city and commercial hub in western Morocco, fronting the Atlantic Ocean. The city's French colonial legacy is seen in its downtown Mauresque architecture, a blend of Moorish style and European art deco. Standing partly over the water, the enormous Hassan II Mosque, completed in 1993, has a 210m minaret topped with lasers directed toward Mecca.

 

Valencia, Spain

Marvel at the stunning mix of innovative architecture and gothic beauty when you visit Valencia. This Spanish city is home to many avant-garde buildings, including the breathtaking City of Arts and Sciences cultural complex. Elsewhere, palaces and mansions constructed in the 15th century dot the cityscape, while The Silk Exchange resembles a medieval fortress housing many mysterious carvings.

Pre/Post Cruise Information

It is always recommended that you arrive the night before the cruise to ensure that you do not miss the boat. For those of you that wish to follow our recommendation, we will make arrangements at a hotel for a group rate to stay the night before the cruise. We'll be hosting a pre-cruise Meet & Greet Reception to give everyone the opportunity to start getting to know the others that you will be sailing the open waters with.
